More often than not, I don’t leave myself enough time in the mornings to do anything other than shove my hair into a topknot before rushing out the door (read: I am not a morning person). However, on that rare occasion I have my life together enough to have more time in the A.M., a fishtail braid is one of my favourite styles, and surprisingly not as time consuming as you might think.
Almost every time I have gone out with my hair braided in this style, I get comments by girls in awe, asking how I manage to do it, or praising my ability. Let me share a secret: it’s not that hard. It’s about as easy as a doing a normal braid, perhaps even more so as you’re working with just two handfuls of hair, not three. It takes a couple of tries to perfect, just like anything, but this is much easier than a lot of people seem to imagine. If you’re a long-haired girl wanting to try something new, something a little bit different that is highly likely to see a few compliments come your way (never a bad thing, let’s be honest), I have filmed a quick tutorial to give you a bit of a guide. Up to you guys from here!
